Transition...

This morning we are in Ohio, as we have been since June 13th. You see...we are in transition. Doesn't everyone love it?!

We packed up everything we own, loaded it into a ABF U-pack trailer, watched it drive away and headed to Ohio to spend some time with my family. This week we plan to finish our trip out to Des Moines, IA. Brad has been hired as the youth pastor at Saylorville Baptist Church (http://www.saylorvillebaptist.com/) and begins his new position on July 1st. In the meantime, we've left all things familiar back in PA, finished a week of teen week here in Ohio and are waiting to find out where we will be living.

I'll admit that having BIG faith and waiting on the Lord's timing has never been my strong point. And the last few days my mind has tried to conquer this waiting situation... but today I do feel calm and collected, knowing that ultimately God has BIG plans. He brought us out here and he won't just dump us by the side of the road.

Anyway, as the days roll on we continue to see God's goodness to us and we praise Him for so many things. Ava has been a peach during this transition. :) We are so thankful for a happy, lovey baby who doesn't mind sleeping in weird places or being drug around town for hours. What a blessing she is. She now has two teeth that have broken through...she sits up alone for several minutes, she jabbers incessantly and loves smiling. It's hard to believe that she is 6 months old already!!! Time is flying by.

I know that I've been horrible at updating my blog. I really do want to be consistent with it... its just been one thing after another. But, we are working on it.

I'm sure you have 1,000 things to do this week, but if you wanted to come up to Canton... ;)

Hugs to all three of you- I'll be praying for you this week!! What a blessing Ava is!!

Mandi...I will definately keep you and Brad in my prayers as you transition. I know how hard it is to leave the familiar and step into the unknown. I know that God does have BIG things for you guys...and can't wait to hear about how He uses you there in Iowa. (I'm still wishing that He would have called you to Michigan ;o)). Anyway...as Bill always said.."Keep looking up" there are big blessings ahead! And keep enjoying that precious little girl, as I know you are! :)
