"I think it’s weird that we all make “simple living” so darn complicated. I’m guilty—even though I write a blog about making life easier, simplifying sometimes feels like one more thing on my to-do list, making it, ironically, one more thing for me to stress over."

As 2012 zooms by already... is it for real already the 11th?! I have organization on the brain. As I look around my basement, kitchen, and most specifically the mass amount of toys we inherited over the birthday/Christmas season... I feel suffocated with junk. Ok, not junk, real things we need and use everyday that just seem to all be out of place and dislocated. Anyone else?
This weekend I was checking my email and got one from this new blog I'm following about "organization". The lady writing recommended a book called, "One Bite at a Time" by Tsh Oxenreider. Better still - B&N had the Nook book on sale for $5! So, I dialed in my info and made the purchase. Tsh writes other places too... you may have heard of:
Yea, lots of good stuff going on. :) {by the way, I'm not getting paid to gush about this lady or her writings... just feeling impacted and want to share} So today I started the book and already feel super motivated by her easy and broken down ideas. There are 52, one for each week - though, you don't have to do it like that. I probably won't. There are vast amounts of topics and catergories and I'm so thrilled to dive in! :)
After all this organization and what not - I just may be planning the worlds BIGGEST yard sale come spring! Who's with me!? And in the words of someone wise...
"How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time."
Same.With.Life.
Have a good one ya'll! And for Pete's sake... here's to hoping at least one drawer gets organzied today!

Hahaha...OrganZIED. nice. :)
I totally know how you feel. I'm just running out of room around here & have another baby on the way. I have to get a grip and start organizing! I'll definitely check out her blog :)
Good luck on your projects!
I was thinking about buying this book, too! My hubby always uses that quote (How do you eat an elephant?...) so I figured it has to be good. :)
Thanks - enjoyed your post, Mandi!
